Joyce J. McCoy, 76, of Beaumont, died October 11, 2009, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont.  A native of Kosciusko, Mississippi, she resided in Beaumont for eleven years.

Survivors include her husband, James R. McCoy of Beaumont; sons, James L. McCoy and his wife Sandra of Beaumont and Jerry Leopard; daughter, Sherry Baker of Santa Fe, Texas, and grandchildren, Anthony McCoy, Evan McCoy, and Joshua Baker.

Her funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Thursday, October 15, 2009, at Culpepper Funeral Home, 406 East Adams Street, Kosciusko, Mississippi with burial to follow at Carson Ridge Cemetery in Ethel, Mississippi. A gathering of her family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning prior to the service at Culpepper Funeral Home. Local arrangements were under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
