Arthur James “Jimmy” Arceneaux, Jr., died October 3, 2009.

A native of Groves, Jimmy  lived in the Beaumont and Houston areas and was a pipe fitter for Brown and Root.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Norris Cemetery, Hwy 562 South of Liberty under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer Drive in Winnie.  A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Jimmy is survived by his father and mom, Arthur “Potty" and Irene "Lucy" Arceneaux of Fannett; sisters, Jan Moore and her husband Avan of Liberty, Shelly Moore and her husband Jeff of Ross City, Leslie Myers and her husband Mike of Liberty; step-sister, Evelyn LaDale Ingram and her husband Danny of Fannett; step-brother, Cecil “Buddy” Wilke and his wife Buffie of Silsbee and numerous relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Joyce Arceneaux.
