Betty Ruth “Nanny” LoBue, 79, of Fannett, died Sunday, September 27, 2009, at Harbor Hospice. A lifelong resident of Beaumont, Betty worked in the Fannett Elementary School Café for eighteen years.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph LoBue; sons, Ricky LoBue and Steve LoBue; daughter, Joann Smalley; sisters, Ruby Linder and Marjorie Landry; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2009, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. A gathering of her family and friends will be 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, at the mortuary.
