Robert F. Wright, 92, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, September 22, 2009, at his residence. A native of Sherman, Texas and a resident of Beaumont since 1950, Robert was self-employed as a carpenter. He was also a faithful Jehovah’s Witness for sixty-seven years and was wholly dedicated to our great God Jehovah and his only begotten son, Jesus Christ. Robert was an elder in the youth congregation until the end of his life.

His wife, Ola Delle Wright, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his brother-in-law, S.O. Gandy, Jr. and his wife Annie Ruth of Beaumont; brothers, Jimmie Wright of Colbert, Oklahoma, Carl Ray Wright of Tulsa, Oklahoma, E.J. Wright of Longview, Texas, and Franklin Wright of Enterprise, Texas; sisters, Juanita Atkinson of Denison, Texas and Lillie Dearing of Grapevine, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 28, 2009, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. A gathering of his friends and family will be from 9:00 a.m., Monday, until the time of the service at the mortuary. Cremation arrangements are being held under the direction of Broussard’s.
