Ray Ingram, Sr. 
August 28, 1930 - September 20, 2009

Ray Ingram, Sr., 79, of Evadale, died Sunday, September 20, 2009, at his residence.

 

A native of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, Ray lived in Evadale for twenty-six years.  He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was a self employed carpenter.

 

He is survived by his wife, Doris Jean Ingram; children, Patricia Ingram Presley and Terri Ingram Slone and her husband Lloyd all of Evadale, Ray Ingram, Jr. of Houston, Samantha Ingram Graber and her husband Paul of Lumberton, Melissa Ingram Taylor and her husband Robert and Corby Ingram and his wife Shandolyn all of Evadale; brother, Edward Ingram of Waynesville, Ohio; sisters, Opal Regney of Peebles, Ohio, Edna Fuller of Anchorage, Alaska, Irene Smith of Florida, and Virginia Harmon of Tuscon, Arizona; twelve grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

 

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 23, 2009, at Central Baptist Church in Evadale with burial to follow at Morse Cemetery in Buna, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday, September 22, 2009, 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Broussard’s.
