Eleanor H. Krueger, 90, of A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, Eleanor was born June 22, 1919, and graduated from Always generous with her time and talents, she was part of many church, civic and social organizations such as St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Ida Reed Garden Club, Federation of Republican Women and United Appeal. She was also Charter Member of Preceptor Zeta Chapter Beta Sigma Phi. In addition to spending time with her family, her favorite hobbies were working in the library as well as working with the children at her church. She was a lady in every sense of the word. Her husband, W.E. “Bill” Krueger; parents, Florence Eleanor and A. E. Hunt; brother, Andrew Earl Hunt, Jr.; and sisters, Robina McFaddin, Earline Shelton and Evelyn Lewis preceded her in death. Survivors include her sons, Lawrence Krueger and his wife Gloria of Vidor, Michael Krueger of Dallas, and David Krueger and his wife Sharon of Bedford; grandchildren, Kevin Krueger, Kerry Rose, Jacob Krueger and Charity Krueger; and many nieces and nephews. She will always be remembered and appreciated.
