Margaret “Jan” Saylor Folsom, 76 of Hamshire passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer in Winnie with her committal to follow at Broussard’s Crematorium. A gathering of her family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at Broussard’s.
A native of Abilene, she had lived in Hamshire since 1963. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther V. Folsom; her grandson, Kevin Boatman; and by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Saylor, Sr.
Mrs. Folsom is survived by her daughter, Tobi Folsom Boatman and her husband Roy; granddaughters, Brittney and Breann Boatman all of Mauriceville; sister, Elsie “Punk” Beckcom of Port Arthur; brother, Curtis “Buster” Saylor, Jr. of Odessa; by her good friend Rose of Winnie; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
