Vanessa Elizabeth Strawther, 29, of Silsbee, died Wednesday, September 2, 2009 in an automobile accident.

Vanessa was born in Kirbyville and lived in the Silsbee area for three years where she was a homemaker. 

She is survived by her mother, Betty Strawther of Silsbee; children, Katlynn and Ethan Wagstaff of Buna; grandparents, Billie Weeks of Kirbyville and Billy Ray and Jewel Strawther of Buna; numerous aunts, uncles, and other relatives.  Vanessa is preceded in death by her father, Allan Ray Strawther.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, September 5, 2009, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee with burial to follow at Antioch Cemetery in Buna.  A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, September 4, 2009, 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
