George Raymond Allen, 73, died August 31, 2009 after a lengthy illness.

He was born January 10, 1936 in Port Arthur, Texas to Lottie Ruth Neal Allen and Thomas Fulton Allen, Sr.  George graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and Lamar University. He was employed and resided in Houston with his partner.

He is survived by his brother, Thomas Fulton Allen, Jr. and his wife Joyce; and also several nieces.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont.
