Claude Norris Taylor Sr., 96, of Port Neches, Texas, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2009 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur, Texas.    A celebration of his life will be held at 10 am Saturday, September 5, 2009 The Episcopal Church of The Good Shepherd 11122 Midway Road Dallas, Texas 75229. Innichment will follow in the church columbarium. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Broussard’s Crematorium 5150 Stivers Drive in Beaumont, Texas.    Mr. Taylor was an accountant for Ford Motor Company and retired after 31 years of service as comptroller of The Ford Assembly Plant in Dallas, Texas.    Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife Vivienne Lee Taylor of Port Neches, Texas; sons, Norris Taylor Jr. of Wichita, Kansas, Kenneth Taylor and wife Margaret of Gautier, Mississippi, Bobby Lee and wife Trudy of Flower Mound, Texas, Dr. John Lee and wife Lara of Port Neches, Texas, Jimmy Lee and wife Connie of Canton, Texas and Billy Lee of Austin, Texas; daughters, Ann Lovell of Carrollton, Texas and Donna Songer and husband Randy of Corpus Christi, Texas; twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; also survived by sister, Nell Finley of Fort Worth, Texas and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by five brothers, four sisters and two grandchildren.
