Milton Dewayne Smith, 39, of Evadale, died Thursday, August 27, 2009, at Christus Saint Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.

Dewayne was born in Silsbee, Texas and lived in Evadale all his life.  He was a 1989 graduate of Evadale High School and a structural fabricator with Creole Steel in Sulphur, Louisiana.

He is survived by his wife, Keri Smith; sons, Aaron Dewayne and Landon Smith; parents, Milton and Johnnie Merle Smith of Evadale; sister, Lisa Mansfield and her husband Jerry of Evadale; and father and mother in-law, Roger and Karen Odom of Vidor.

Funeral service will be 12:00 noon, Saturday, August 29, 2009, at Calvary Apostolic Tabernacle in Evadale with burial to follow at Morse Cemetery in Buna, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, August 28, 2009, 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
