Donna Bree Trahan, 72, of Fannett, died Tuesday, August 25, 2009, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont.

A native of Ottawa, Illinois, she was born September 10, 1936, to Gladys and Thomas Lock. She had been a resident of Fannett for thirty-one years and was a nurse for forty years before retiring in 1993.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald Trahan of Fannett; sons, Jody Trahan and his wife Sharon of Fannett, Gerald “Josh” Trahan II of Port Neches, and Sean Trahan of Fannett; grandchildren, Skyler Trahan, Taylor Trahan, Cody Trahan, Tatum Trahan, and Anthony Bienvenu; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gladys and Thomas Lock; brother, Lloyd Lock; sisters, Fern Ingram, and Sherrill Bramel.

Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 28, 2009, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont with burial to follow at Memory Gardens in Nederland.  A gathering of her family and friends will be from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Thursday, August 27, 2009, at Broussard’s.
