Peggy Carroll Siver 
March 6, 1936 - August 25, 2009

Peggy Carroll Siver, 73, of Beaumont, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2009, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont after a brief illness.

 

A native of Liberty, she was born March 6, 1936, to Audrey and Onnie Carroll.  Peggy had been a resident of Beaumont for over fifty years and was a retired Librarian for St. Anne Catholic School and Beaumont Charlton Pollard High School. She was a longtime and faithful member of Pine Burr Baptist Church.

 

Peggy had a purely gentle soul. She was tender, kind hearted, loved and cared deeply for her Lord, her family and friends. She devoted herself fully to being a Godly wife, mother, and grandmother, and was in return, loved greatly by all those who knew her.

 

Survivors include her husband of fifty-five years, Ed Siver of Beaumont; son, Ray Siver and his wife Laura of San Antonio; daughter, Karen Forcier and her husband Bob of Beaumont; eight grandchildren, Raschelle Siver, Jessica Siver, Chad Siver, Pilar Siver, Jourdan Siver, Whitney Witzleben and her husband Chris, Kayla Forcier, and Sunni Forcier; and two great grandchildren.

 

Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 28, 2009, at Pine Burr Baptist Church, 5095 Pine Burr Boulevard, with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.  A gathering of her family and friends will begin at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, August 27, 2009, at Broussard’s.

 

The family would like thank Dr. George Thomas, Dr. Ian Angel, Dr. Kandasami Senthilkumar, Dr. Santos Soberon, and the staff of the Neuro ICU at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth for their compassionate touch and care for her; and her church family at Pine Burr Baptist Church.
