Charles Eldon Hauth 
March 10, 1930 - August 23, 2009

Charles Hauth, 79, of Beaumont, died Sunday, August 23, 2009, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont.

 

A native of Kansas City, Missouri, he was born March 10, 1930, to Alma and Charles Hauth. He was a 1948 graduate from Carbondale Union High School in Carbondale, Colorado. Charles had lived in Beaumont since 2001 and was retired owner/operator of Depot Trains and Dolls in Grand Junction, Colorado.

 

Survivors include his wife, Esther “Jean” Hauth of Beaumont; daughters, Debra Crumbaker-Oldham of Millican, Martha Campbell of Baytown, and Ruth Klock of Carbondale, Colorado; son, Albert Theodore Hauth of Oregon; step-children, Jim Hawman of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Mick Hawman of Monte Vista, Colorado, Wanda Hawman of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Ginger Hawman Los Angeles, California; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

 

A gathering of his family and friends will begin at 4:00 p.m. with his memorial service at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, August 27, 2009, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A private committal service will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
