Ashley Elizabeth LaBiche
June 1, 1992 - August 22, 2009

On Saturday, August 22, 2009, our angel, Ashley Elizabeth LaBiche, left this world for an eternal life with her Lord. Ashley was a senior at Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School and was a member of S.A.D.D., Anchor Club, Pink Club and was a founding member of the Kelly Christmas Club to help EJ’s Stocking Fund. She was also an active member of Net Casters and enjoyed those activities with her friends. She enjoyed helping her mother and grandfather with catered events and many times served gumbo for Don’s Seafood at the “Taste Of The Triangle”. Her smile could light up a room and her personality made her the life of the party. Affectionately known to her Lake Charles family as “Miss Big Lake”, she brought joy and happiness to all who met her.

She is survived by her loving family, parents, Dohn and Angie and her special friend and brother, Drew; grandparents, Sandra Dugan of Lake Charles, and A.J. and Pat Leger of Beaumont; great-grandmother, Thelma Dumatrait of Lake Charles; aunts and uncles, Scott and Janet LaBiche, Guy and Rhonda Crabtree, John and Jo Jo Rutledge; first cousins, Kyleigh, Morgan and Cody Crabtree, Mason Rutledge, and Wesley and Emily LaBiche. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Frank Dugan of Lake Charles; and great–grandparents, Bertha and Clevens Guidry of Lafayette.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 3:00 p.m. Thursday, August 27, 2009, at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church with burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A gathering of her family and friends will begin at 5:00 p.m. with a Christian Vigil at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2009, at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ashley’s memory may be made to Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School, 5950 Kelly Drive, Beaumont, Texas 77707.

The family offers special thanks to the staff and students of Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School you were Ashley’s heart and soul; Bishop Curtis Guillory and the clergy of the Diocese of Beaumont you are the wind beneath our wings; our extended family and friends whose calls, messages, prayers and gifts will help to continue Ashley’s memory for the future.
