Sharon Garner, 60, of Aurora, Colorado, formerly of Beaumont, died Tuesday, August 11, 2009, at Porter Adventist Hospital in Denver, Colorado.

A native of Beaumont, she was born September 2, 1948, to Berline and Henry Whittaker, and had lived in Aurora for many years where she taught pre-school.

Survivors include her husband, Chet H. Garner of Aurora, Colorado; and son, Zackary Vincent of Denver, Colorado.

A graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 22, 2009, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
