Donny Ray Goins 
August 15, 1953 - August 10, 2009

Donny Ray Goins, 55, of Buna, died Monday, August 10, 2009, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.

 

Donny lived in the Buna area all his life.  He was a member of Buna United Pentecostal Church where he served on the board of trustees.  He also worked at STI in Buna as a welder.  

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Goins of Buna; children, Stevan Goins and his wife Chelsea and Rhonda Goins, all of Buna; and brother, Ricky Goins and his wife Barbara of Caldwell; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Glenn Pride and his wife Jeanette of Houston; nieces and nephews, Lisa Blatt and her husband Danny and their daughters, Kaitlin and Madison "Tinkerbell", and Paul, Paula, Barry, Jeffrey, Stephanie, Susan, Jennifer, Kimberly, and Chelesa.

 

Donny is preceded in death by his parents, Lance and Brooksie Goins; and brothers, Lance Goins, Jr. and Lanny Goins.

 

Memorial contributions can be made to, Building Fund, Buna United Pentecostal Church, P. O. Box 277, Buna, Texas 77612.

 

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 12, 2009, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee with burial to follow at Morse Cemetery in Buna.  A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday, August 11, 2009 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Broussard’s.
