Chris Allan Comer, 45, of Kountze died August 9, 2009, at his residence.  Chris was born December 21, 1963 in Kountze to Larry Allan and Barbara Ann (Tucker) Comer.  A lifelong resident of Kountze, he owned Lumberton Truck and Muffler.

He is survived by his loving wife, Laura Comer of Kountze; children, Cody Comer and Lysabeth Comer both of Kountze; sisters, Genger Richardson of Kountze and Amanda Brown and Cindy Tunnell both of Warren; nephews, Chad Comer and his wife Brandy of Warren; niece, Tiffany Neil of Warren, great niece, Jordyn Comer of Ivanhoe; and great nephew, Corey Neil, Jr. of Warren.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 13, 2009 at Broussard’s, 530 W. Monroe, Kountze with Reverend Robert Hall officiating.  Burial will follow at Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze.  A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday, August 12, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
