John C. Terry, Sr., 65, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, August 4, 2009, at his residence.  A native of Houston, and formerly of Albuquerque, New Mexico, he was born January 12, 1944 to Jeanne and George F. Terry, Jr., and his career as a chemist in the defense contracting industry allowed he and his family to live throughout the State of Texas, and various other States.

Survivors include his wife, Frances Terry of Beaumont; daughter, Kimberly Bracken and her husband Luther of Beaumont; son, John Christopher Terry, Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Las Vegas, Nevada; brother, George Franklin Terry III and his wife Pat of Pinehurst; and grandchildren, Brandon Michael Bracken and Kristen Alyssa Terry.

His parents, Jeanne and George F. Terry, Jr. preceded him in death.

A private committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
