Dale Chiappetta, 66, of Houston, died Tuesday, August 4, 2009, at his residence. A native of Beaumont, he was born September 24, 1942, to Amy and Louis Chiappetta, and had lived in the Houston area most of his life.  Dale was a retired mechanic with Compressor Products in Houston.

Survivors include his wife of forty-two years, Brenda Chiappetta of Houston; his children, Jonathan Chiappetta and his wife Jeanna of Houston, Mike Chiappetta and his wife Patti of Vidor, Amy Gardner and her husband Mike of Houston, and Phillip Chiappetta and his wife Star of Houston; brother, Charles Chiappetta of Beaumont; and ten grandchildren, Jeffry Chiappetta, Kaylee Chiappetta, Sarah Chiappetta, Colby Chiappetta, Corbin Chiappetta, Chloe Chiappetta, Brendan Gardner, Braydon Gardner, Josh Chiappetta and Jayden Chiappetta.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Amy and Louis Chiappetta; brother, L.J. Chiappetta; and his graddaughter, Leslie Gardner.

His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 8, 2009, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont with burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery.  A gathering of his family and friends will begin at 5:00 p.m. Friday, August 7, 2009, at Broussard’s. 

Dale was greatly loved and will be missed by all of his family and friends.
