Margo Hanson Lenamon, 70, of Beaumont, died Monday, August 3, 2009, at Memorial Hermann Baptist Beaumont Hospital.

She was born January 7, 1939, to Syble and Spencer Hanson, and has been a longtime resident of Beaumont. Margo was a fine artist; she enjoyed making ceramics and water colors. She also enjoyed crocheting blankets and afghans.

Survivors include her husband of fifty years, Gene Lenamon of Beaumont; daughters, Margene Lenamon of LaPorte, and LeeAnn Lenamon of Beaumont; sister, Jorjie Lewis of Huntsville, Arkansas; brother, John Spencer Hanson of Angleton; and step-mother, Jane Hanson of Angleton.

Her parents, Syble Wilson and Spencer Hanson preceded her in death.

A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 6, 2009, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A gathering of her family and friends will follow the service until 4:00 p.m. at Broussard’s.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Broussard’s Crematorium.
