Byron "Wayne" Feagin 
September 11, 1946 - July 31, 2009

Byron “Wayne” Feagin, 62, of Houston, formerly of Vidor, died Friday, July 31, 2009, at his residence.  A native of Beaumont, he was born September 11, 1946, to Doris and Byron O. Feagin, and lived most of his life in Vidor.  Wayne was a Senior Piping Designer for Aker Solutions.

 

He enjoyed photography, woodworking, boating and was a master scuba diver.  Wayne was an Assistant Scout Master and Eagle Scout Mentor for Troop 993.

 

Survivors include his wife, Michelle Feagin of Houston; step-sons, Michael Jenkins, Mark Jenkins, and Matthew Jenkins all of Houston; daughter, Paula Walston and her husband Paul of Vidor; granddaughters, Heather Pack, Amber Hodge, and Jesa Walston; grandson, Paul Walston, Jr.; great granddaughters, Lena Pack and Jasmine Hodge; brother, Michael Feagin and his family of Sugar Land; aunts, Lenore Sue Feagin, Joyce Horn, and Charlene Fulgham; mother-in-law, Shirley Secrest; former wife and friend, Jacqueline Stephenson; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

 

His parents, Doris and Byron O. Feagin preceded him in death.

 

His funeral service will be 11:00 am. Monday, August 3, 2009, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont with burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery.  A gathering of his family and friends will be from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sunday, August 2, 2009, at the Mortuary. 

 

An additional memorial service for Wayne will be 7:00 p.m. Monday, August 10, 2009, at The Episcopal Church of the Epiphany, 9600 South Gessner, Houston, Texas.
