We are sad and our hearts are heavy. Our daughter, Vicki Jo McEachern, died early Sunday morning, July 26, 2009. We don’t know what happened; we do know that the road to this end has been long and hard; on her as well as all her family. At the end, there is much heartache and emptiness for those she’s left behind. We will miss her more than words can say.

We will miss her but we are determined to remember the good times and rejoice in the fact she knew the Lord, loved so many people, and when times were good she laughed and took a great big bite out of life. She loved animals, especially horses, and babies; everyone’s animals and babies.

We wish this journey down life’s road could have had a happier ending, but for Vicki it has the ultimate; eternal joy and peace in her heavenly home with the loved ones who’ve gone on before, and with her heavenly Father.

Be sure to fill every day with the joy of each other, as time is sometimes shorter than we think. God bless you all, the family.

She is survived by her son, David Martin; daughter, Bethilyn Sanford; and her parents, Marvin and Pearl McEachern; brother, Lou McEachern and his wife Terea. She was preceded in death by her sister, Sheri Lee Hatcher.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 30, 2009, at Broussard’s Crematorium, 5150 Stivers Drive, Beaumont, Texas 77705. Arrangements are under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
