Jody Alexander Goss, 33, of Vidor, died Sunday, July 26, 2009, at Memorial Hermann Baptist Beaumont Hospital. A native of Anderson, South Carolina, and a resident of Vidor for the past ten years, Jody worked as an industrial safety director.

His grandparents, James and Mary Goss preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Christina Bagley-Goss; daughter, Destiny Marie Goss; son, Jody Alexander Goss, Jr., all of Vidor; parents, Ranny and Tammy Wakeland of Anahuac; grandparents, Shirley and Ray Wakeland of Dayton; mother and father-in-law, Gwen and Dale Bagley of Vidor; sisters-in-law, Sandy Goddard and Julie Bagley of Vidor; nieces, Kaylee and Madison Morrison; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 30, 2009, at St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica with interment to follow at Restlawn Cemetery in Vidor, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. A gathering of his family and friends will be from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 29, 2009, with a Christian Vigil at 6:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
