Joyce Jones, 84, of Beaumont, died Sunday, July 26, 2009, at her residence.  A native of Jacksonville, Texas, she was born March 15, 1925 to Carrie Casey Vandigriff and C. E. Vandigriff, and had lived in the Beaumont area since 1957.

Survivors include her sons, Billy Jones and his wife Debra of Fannett, and Clint Jones of Beaumont; grandsons, Joshua Jones and his wife Lynne of Killeen, and Jeremiah Jones of Beaumont; great grandsons, Tyler Jones, and Logan Jones; and daughter-in-law, Ronda Jones.

Her husband, Oran B. Jones; and son, Eddy O. Jones preceded her in death.

Her graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2009, at Resthaven Cemetery in Jacksonville under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.  A gathering of her family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2009, at Broussard’s.
