Frankie Lonora Shelton Vanover, 76, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth.  She was a native and lifelong resident of Beaumont.

Survivors include her husband of fifty-six years, Glen Vanover of Beaumont; sons, Kirby Vanover and his wife Trish of San Angelo and Bill Vanover and his wife Deb of LaBelle; daughter, Vickie Vanover of Beaumont; sisters, Aline Crocker and her husband Alton of Nederland and Sara Priest and her husband Jack of Stockton, California; sister-in-law, Eva Joy Shelton of Beaumont; grandchildren, Randy Vanover, Nickie Proctor and her husband Russell, Dr. Amber Schifflet and her husband Dr. Mason, Nadine Glasman and her husband Tom, Trey Westfall and Gunner Westfall; great grandchildren, Jake Glasman, Allison Glasman, Avery Schifflet and Shelby Deleon; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 1, 2008 at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Ken Wayne Vanover, Paul Crocker, Alton L. Crocker, David Shelton, Alvin Shelton and Clint Vanderburg serving as pallbearers.  John Short, Finis Vanover and Bill Vanderburg will be serving as honorary pallbearers.  A gathering of family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 31, 2008 at the Mortuary.
