Emelda ‘Mom’ Taylor, 64, of Port Arthur, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2008 in Jasper, Texas.   Graveside service will be 2 pm Thursday, October 2, 2008 in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves with Mr. Bobby South officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 9 pm Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at Mrs. Taylor’s residence at 2525 Glenwood Dr. in Port Arthur.   Mom was a homemaker and will be remembered as a loving and faithful mother, grandmother and great grandmother. A native of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, Mom lived in Port Arthur for 18 years.   Mrs. Taylor is survived by her husband of 46 years, Morris Taylor Jr. of Port Arthur; sons, Robert Taylor, Craig Taylor and wife Danielle and Greg Taylor and wife Cassie all of Port Arthur; daughters, Inger Bruce of Louisiana, Michelle Eubanks and husband Charles of Jasper and Penny Coppic and husband Buddy of Lumberton; 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Beverly Asher of Pearl River, Louisiana and brothers, Charles Asher and Louis Asher of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends
