Helen Leger, 98 of Gilchrist, died October 21, 2007, at Jennings Guest House in Jennings, LA.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer Drive in Winnie with burial to follow in High Island Cemetery.  A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home

Mrs. Leger is survived by a daughter, Shirley Dailey and her husband, Lonnie of Jennings, LA; sons A. J.  Leger and his wife, Donna of Hamshire, George Leger and his wife, Sherry of High Island; grandchildren, Valerie Carney, Glenda Bergeaux, Connie Lopez, Tracy Bearb, Sondra Leger, Todd Leger, Nathan Leger, Sean Leger, Lisa Phend, Rayetta Hunter, Clay Leger, Christy Leger, Jimmy Leger; great-grandchildren, Jill Chambers, Guy Lopez, Lance Lopez, Rusty Phend, Diane Phend, Alex Phend, Aaron Strickland, Allisa Strickland, Allen Strickland, Chelsea Leger, Ross Leger, Taylor Leger, Sophia Leger, Blakeland Leger, Jillian Leger, Ian Swanson, Ainsley Swanson, Jayden Bearb, Stuart Bergeaux, Ashley Quebedeaux, Jared Quebedeaux, Stelleen Leger, Samuel Leger and  great-great-grandchildren, Blake David Chambers, Colton Bergeaux, Kaden Quebedeaux.
