Gary Eugene Bicknell

Gary E. Bicknell, 60 of Beaumont passed away May 9, 2004.  Born March 24, 1944 in Kenton, Ohio to Arthur Bicknell, Sr. and Cassie Bicknell, he lived in Beaumont for the last twenty-three years.  He was a General Contractor and loved woodworking.  Gary was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and he will be greatly missed by his family whom he loved dearly.

Gary is survived by his loving wife of thirty-eight years, Jean Bicknell; daughters, Letitia Doiron and her husband SFC Charles Doiron of Orange, Yvonne McBroom and her husband Frank of Beaumont, and Cindy Bright and her husband Robert Jr. of Beaumont; brother, Arthur Bicknell, Jr. of Lima, Ohio; sister, Kay Glass of Lima, Ohio; and eight grandchildren, Brandie and Kayla Sheppard, Erica, Meagan, Kelly and Crystal Marks, Alicia and Cameron Bright.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, May 13, 2004 at Broussard’s, 1605 N. Major Dr., in Beaumont.  Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Robert Bright, Jr., Charles Doiron, Frank McBroom, Tony Doiron, Chris Marks, Lee Stanley, Mike Hargris, and Alan Cramer serving as pallbearers.  A gathering of family and friends will be from 7:00 – 9:00 PM Wednesday evening at the mortuary.
