Mitchell Lee “Mitch” Simoneaux, 23, of Nederland passed away Thursday May 18, 2006 in Nederland with injuries from an automobile accident.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, May 21, 2006 at Broussard’s in Nederland with Rev. Tim Hicke officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 8 PM Saturday at the mortuary.

Mitch was a native and lifelong resident of Nederland. He was employed in the construction industry as a boilermaker, and a member of the Bethel Methodist Church in Port Neches.

He is survived by his wife, Sida  Simoneaux of Nederland, parents Charlene Wyles and her husband Shelby of Fannett, Gary Simoneaux and wife Regina of Port Neches; grandparents, Frank Simoneaux of Nederland, Wallace Thibodeaux Sr. of Nederland; sister, Michelle Simoneaux of Nederland, brother Garrett Simoneaux of Port Neches, and two uncles Scott Simoneaux of Nederland, and Jason Simoneaux of Nederland. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
