Kevin Scott “Bird” Latino, 27, of Lumberton, died Wednesday, May 10, 2006.

A lifelong resident of Lumberton, Kevin graduated from Lumberton High School in 1997 and was an air conditioning technician with Colony Air Conditioning.

Kevin was preceded in death by his grandfather, Wilson Moffitt.

Survivors include his wife, Jessica Mitchell Latino of Kountze; daughter, Emily Grace Latino; mother and father, Charles and Karen Latino of Kountze; sister, Stacy Shilling and husband Johnny of Magnolia; brother, Chad Latino and wife Julie of Crawford; nieces and nephews, Bailey Shilling, Colby Shilling and Aidan Latino; grandparents, Luke and Edna Mae Latino of Kountze and Oleta Moffitt of Beaumont; father-in-law, Robert Mitchell and wife Kim of Lumberton; mother-in-law, Wanda Perry and husband James of Lumberton; sisters-in-law, Leta Mitchell and Erin Mitchell; and his wife’s grandparents, Iris Mitchell and Katherine Wilson.

Funeral service was 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 13, 2006 at Crestwood Baptist Church in Kountze with burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road at Highway 96 Bypass, Silsbee.  A gathering of family and friends was held Friday, May 12, 2006 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Broussard’s in Silsbee.
