David Burl Drinkard, 68, of Bevil Oaks, died Monday, December 26, 2016, at Christus Hospital-St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. He was born on August 15, 1948, to Tiny Drinkard and B.M. Drinkard, in Lufkin. David was a wildlife artist.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly Drinkard; children, Kym Drinkard Eldridge and her husband, Jim; David Allen Drinkard and his wife, Jessica; Kelly Drinkard Martin and her husband, Roy; and Kerri Drinkard Gabert and her husband, Brandon; grandchildren, Kel, Kenneth, Brittney, Kristen, Jessie, Chase, Kristian, Derek, Drake, Carson, Lucas, and Lauren.

A gathering of Mr. Drinkard’s family and friends will begin at 4:00 p.m. with his funeral service to follow at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, December 29, 2016, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
