Jeanette Rose Verde, 93, of Beaumont, died Sunday, November 27, 2016, at Christus Hospital-St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. She was born on April 12, 1923, to Amelia Landry Benoit and Alcee Benoit, in Louisiana.

Survivors include her children, Mary Catherine Pearson; Mike Verde and his wife, Joyce; Darlene Verde, and David Verde, all of Beaumont; Cindy Verde of Houston; and Jackie Verde of Beaumont; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jake Verde.

 A Christian Vigil for Mrs. Verde will begin at 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. and a gathering of family and friends to follow until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 1, 2016, at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 6825 Gladys Avenue, Beaumont. Her interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.
