Clyde Ziegler Poole 
January 5, 1927 - November 26, 2016

Clyde Ziegler Poole, 89, of Beaumont, died Saturday, November 26, 2016, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. He was born on January 5, 1927, to Edna Ziegler Poole and Abner Clyde Poole, in Jackson, Mississippi. Clyde was a United States Marine Corps veteran having served in the Battle of Iwo Jima during World War II.  

Survivors include his wife, June Raimer Poole; stepdaughter, Annette Williams Crump of Trout, Louisiana; son, Clyde Thomas Poole; daughter, Mary Poole Bruch; brother-in-law, Kenneth Raimer and his wife, Jo-lena, of Beaumont; sister, Carol Poole Childs and her husband, Wendell, of Alabama; grandsons, Jeffrey and Nicholos Poole; and granddaughter, Mellissa Poole Squibb.

A gathering of Mr. Poole’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with his funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 28, 2016, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Allison Cemetery, Allison Cemetery Road, Warren.
