Ronnell "Ronnie" H. Berwick, Sr. 
January 23, 1936 - November 17, 2016

Ronnell H. “Ronnie” Berwick, Sr., 80, of Montgomery, a native of Beaumont, died Thursday, November 17, 2016. He was born on January 23, 1936, in Beaumont, at Hotel Dieu, to Olite Budwine Berwick and Edward Hart Berwick.


Ronnell was a United States Navy veteran and was a retired Consultant of the Small Business Development Center of Lamar University. He was a graduate of South Park High School and Lamar University.


He is survived by his son, Ronnell Hart Berwick, Jr. and Shannon Phillips, of Houston;  daughters, Rhonda Berwick Fishbein and her husband, Craig, of Wallingford, Connecticut and Dianna Berwick Judd and her husband, Paul, of Haughton, Louisiana;  granddaughter, Chelsea Keller and her husband, Jordan, of Great Falls, Montana; and great-grandchildren, Dylan Lee Keller and Brayden Hart Keller, of Great Falls, Montana; sister, Mary Nita Wing, of Lake Jackson, Texas; sweetheart and best friend, Jeanette Berwick of Montgomery; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and nephews.


Ronnell is preceded in death by his parents; brother, John Edward Berwick; brother-in-law, Milton Wing; and nephew, Chris Berwick.


A gathering of Mr. Berwick’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with his Rosary recited at 5:30 p.m., Monday, November 21, 2016, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 22, 2016, at St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica, 700 Jefferson, Beaumont, with his interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
