Daniel Ray Salvador Delgado
April 28, 1992 - November 10, 2016

Our dearly beloved son and brother, Daniel Ray Salvador Delgado, was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 10, 2016. Daniel was born on April 28, 1992, to Eva and Vicente Delgado, Sr., in Beaumont. He was baptized at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, Beaumont, and received his First Holy Communion at St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica, Beaumont. Growing up, Daniel was a faithful Alter Server at St. Anthony Basilica, a member of Men’s ACTS Retreat, and he participated and was active in the youth group.

Daniel played football at Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School.  He was a devoted and hard working employee of CBI, where he had many friends. He will always live in our hearts as an amazing son, brother, uncle, and true friend. Daniel always had a smile on his face and always put others first. He loved to hang out at the beach with his family and friends, and cheering for the Houston Texans.

We will never understand why Daniel was taken to be with the Lord at such a young age, but we know that he will have a smile on his face in heaven for all eternity, just as he did on earth.

Daniel is survived by his parents, Eva and Vicente Delgado; siblings, Angelica Delgado Juhan and her husband, Jonathan; Vincent Delgado, Jr. and his wife, Candice; Amanda Delgado Magdaleno and her husband, Jose; nieces and nephews, Christopher Delgado, Micaela Magdaleno, Desireé Carreon, Alé Carreon, Joshua Magdaleno, Liam Gage Delgado, and McGavin Delgado; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary and Raymon Zavala and Amor and Salvador Delgado.

A gathering of Daniel Ray Salvador Delgado’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., with his Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m. and a Christian Vigil to follow at 6:30 p.m., Monday, November 14, 2016, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 15, 2016, at St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica, 700 Jefferson, Beaumont, with his committal to follow at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
