Michael Scott DuCote, 20, of Nederland, died Friday, September 30, 2016. He was born on July 8, 1996, in Port Arthur, to Kimberly Ann Mulhall and Adam Paul DuCote.

Michael graduated from Nederland High School in 2014 and was currently studying Pharmacology at Lamar University. He enjoyed mowing his grandparents’ yard, playing golf, and shopping. He will be remembered for his constant smile and sense of style.

Survivors include his mother, Kimberly Bean; father, Paul DuCote and his wife, Ginger; girlfriend, Ashlee Hill; stepfather, Jeric Bean, all of Nederland; sisters, Katelin Bean of Nederland and Samantha DuCote of Sulphur, Louisiana, brothers, Thomas and Owen DuCote, both of Sulphur, Louisiana, grandparents, Al and Nancy DuCote of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, Robert and Peggy Mulhall and Monroe and Annie Pratt, all of Groves, Melanie Bodin of Nederland, and Lloyd Douglas Bean of Groves; niece, Khloe Koppie of Nederland; aunts and uncles; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A gathering of Michael’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 7, 2016, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 8, 2016, at Broussard’s, Nederland. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
