L. D. McIntyre 
September 7, 1933 - September 4, 2016

L.D. McIntyre, 82, of Silsbee, died Sunday, September 4, 2016, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont.  He was born on September 7, 1933, in DeQueen, Arkansas, to Lou Lottie Watkins McIntyre and James Wilburn McIntyre.  L.D. retired as a tool pusher with Mitchell Entergy and was a self employed dirt contractor. He was a longtime member of First Pentecostal Church in Silsbee and a member of Silsbee Masonic Lodge #927, A.F. & A.F.

Survivors include his wife, Margie McIntyre; children, Tommy McIntyre and his wife, Dolly; Shirley Cook; John Brewer, Jr.; Kathy Brewer; Jimmy Brewer; Cindy Brewer; and Charles Brewer and his wife, Michelle; grandchildren, Clay McIntyre and his wife, Wendi; Adam McIntyre and his wife, Kellie; Tommy McIntyre, Jr.; Curtis McIntyre and his wife, Jada; Joseph Cook and his wife, Haley; Chad Brewer; Kaylee Brewer; Blake Brewer: Dollie Willis; Nicholas Salter; Victoria Salter; Joey Bozyone; Jonathan Bozyone; Jamie Bozyone; Katy Brewer; Johnny Brewer; Candy Malbreaux; Brandylon Smith; Garrick Erickson; Michael Erickson; Stephen Beck;  and Jeremy Beck; great-grandchildren; Anthony Roark; Taylor Kilpatrick and her husband, John; Emily McIntyre; Alanna McIntyre; Piper McIntyre; Leeland McIntyre; Karlie McIntyre; and Addison Cook; numerous great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Sybil Vaughn.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Judy Spurlock McIntyre; son, Harold McIntyre; daughters, Brenda Salter and Sharon Erickson; and brothers, Lonnie, Harlan, Paul, J.W., and Melvin McIntyre.

A gathering of Mr. McIntyre’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 6, 2016, at First Pentecostal Church, 1420 N. 5th Street, Silsbee.  His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 7, 2016, at the church, with his interment to follow at Cunningham Cemetery, Silsbee, under the direction of Broussard’s, Silsbee.
