James Howard Girouard, 91, of Beaumont, died August 31, 2016. He was born on October 12, 1924, to Elizabeth Koenig Girouard and Wiltz Girouard, in Broussard, Louisiana, and was a United States Army veteran having served in World War II. James retired as Superintendent of Industrial Relations for Neches Butane Chemical Plant.
Surviors include his wife, Jan Girouard; daughters, Anita Seegers and her husband, Alan, and Angie Morman and her husband, Mike all of Beaumont; sister, Shirley Sandoz of Nederland; grandchildren, Jeremy Girouard and his wife, Addie; Monica Rinando and her husband, Trey; Malaina Seegers; Nick Morman; and Chris Morman; and great-grandchildren, Tristan, J.D., Cade, Colin, and Claire.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth and Wiltz Girouard; son, Jerry Doan Girouard; and sister, Ruby Girouard.
A gathering of Mr. Girouard’s family and friends will be from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Thursday, September 1, 2016, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His graveside service will follow at 5:30 p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3900 Twin City Highway, Groves.
