Michael Wayne Ferguson, Sr. 
April 23, 1966 - August 13, 2016

Michael Wayne Ferguson Sr. passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2016. He was born on April 23, 1966, in Beaumont, Texas. He lived in the area most of his life. Mike never met a stranger and always made you feel welcomed and at home. His passion for cars and motorcycles allowed him to create unique Hot Rods, Choppers and Bobbers. He had determination that allowed him to excel in anything he set his mind to do including the art of tattooing and pin striping. Mike's motto in life, "NEVER A DULL MOMENT", a life filled with amazing stories and memories that will continue to live on in those who loved him.

Mike met the love of his life, best friend and soul mate, Liz Noone Ferguson, at the age of 14. It would be a long lasting love. They were married on July 17, 1999, and blessed with three children and three grandchildren (who knew him as Brumpy) that adored everything about him.

He is survived by his wife, Liz Ferguson; son, Michael Wayne Ferguson, Jr.; daughters, Danielle Soileau (Justin Corbell) and Whitney Soileau (Jacob Roberson); grandchildren, Hannah "Hannah Bear" Corbell, Derek “D-Mike” Roberson and Grayson “Paul” Roberson. 

He is also survived by his father, Clifton Joseph “CJ” Sonnier; his mother, Ruth Wilson Ferguson; in-laws, Jim and Diana Noone; sister, Brenda Coffman and her husband Scott; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Mike was preceded in death by his adopted father, William “Bill” Ferguson; and his beloved dog, Walter.

A gathering of Mr. Ferguson’s family and friends will begin at 3:30 p.m., with his memorial service at 4:20 p.m., Sunday, August 21, 2016, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
