Floyd Laird, 90, of Port Arthur, died Sunday, July 10, 2016. A native of Fullerton, Louisiana, Floyd was born on July 1, 1926, to Cordie Cooper Laird and Clifford Laird.

Survivors include his wife of eighteen years, Nelda Jacobs Laird, of Port Arthur; step-daughters, Dinah Stanley and Kathy Blackwell; great-nieces, Royce Monique and Gail Servino; three step-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by parents; first wife, Virginia Hughes; and sisters, Louise Richardson and Royce Yvonne Sheppard.

A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 12th Street, Nederland.
