Leonard "Lynn" Charles Rossi 
September 15, 1944 - July 7, 2016

Leonard “Lynn” Charles Rossi, 71, of Beaumont, died Thursday, July 7, 2016, at Jefferson Nursing and Rehabilitation, Beaumont. A native of and lifelong resident of this area, he was born on September 15, 1944, to Bessie Guarnere Rossi and Anthony Rossi. Lynn retired after many years from the United States Postal Service. He was an avid gun collector and proud member of the NRA. He was also very proud of his Italian heritage. Lynn was a member of the Family Worship Center (Jimmy Swaggart Ministries) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

 

Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Rossi; stepdaughters, Ronda McNeel of Lumberton, Becky Cox of Beaumont; and Stephanie Doyle of LaPorte; nephew, Shawn Rossi and his wife, Tamsyn; and two great-nephews.

 

He is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Elizabeth Rossi; and brother, Johnny Rossi.

 

A gathering of Mr. Rossi’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 11:00 a.m., with his funeral service to follow on Monday, July 11, 2016, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A private interment will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
