Naomi Eula Haynes, 101, of Beaumont, died Sunday, June 26, 2016, at Calder Woods, Beaumont. She was born on October 4, 1914, to Bertie Jane Herrington and Hughey Fountain Wiggins, in Honey Island. Naomi worked at Gulf States Utilities for forty-one years.

Survivors include her nieces, Naomi Maureen Winchell and her husband, Dean; Kathleen Hambright and her husband, Robert; Carol Hearn and her husband, Donald; Jo Bienvenu and her husband, Michael; and Gerry Edwards and her husband, Lum, all of Beaumont; nephew, George Wiggins of Aloha, Oregon; and a host of great nephews and nieces.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert William Haynes and brothers, William Wyatt Wiggins and Mercer Hughey Wiggins.

A graveside service for Mrs. Haynes will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 30, 2016, at Magnolia Cemetery, 2291 Pine Street, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
