Abraham Barrera, 28, of Sour Lake, died Tuesday, June 21, 2016. He was born on January 18, 1988, in Beaumont, to Virginia Cisneros Barrera and Ediberto H. Barrera, Jr. Abraham was an electrical engineer with Eaton Corporation.

Other than his parents, Abraham is survived by his brother, Ediberto Barrera III and his wife, Brittany, of Tennessee; sister, Delilah Barrera, of Beaumont; aunts, Sylvia Rivera, Rosa Nieto, and Diana Portales, all of Beaumont, Jo Ann Ayres, of Bridge City, and Elizabeth Barrera, of Beaumont; and uncles, Telesforo Barrera, of Colorado, Hector Barrera and Juan Barrera, both of Beaumont, Francisco Barrera, of Fannett, and Luis Frank Cisneros, of Rockton, Illinois.

A gathering of Abraham’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with his Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, June 26, 2016, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 27, 2016, at Broussard’s, with his entombment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.
