Ernest C. Epps, Jr, 81, of Nederland, died Wednesday, June 22, 2016. He was born on December 3, 1934, in Houston, to Melissa Overton Daughtery Epps and Ernest Clayton Epps, Sr.

Survivors include his son, Gary Epps; and sister, Jennice Epps.

A private graveside service for Mr. Epps will be held at a later date, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
