Ronnie Richard, 72, of Port Neches, died Wednesday, June 22, 2016. He was born on February 3, 1944, in Opelousas, Louisiana, to Verdie Courville Richard and Welton Richard.

Ronnie was a United States Army veteran and retired from Mobil Chemical as an Instrumentation Foreman.

Survivors include his son, Todd Richard and his wife, Lisa, of Spurger; daughter, Paige Breaux and her husband, Joey, of Groves; special friend, Annette Barrows; grandchild, Kristin Nixon and her husband, Travis; step-grandchildren, Jason Saulsbury and his wife, Gayle and Kelli Evans and her husband, Kyle; step-great-grandchildren, Sarah, Jared, MaKayla, Mallory, McCoy, and McKinley; sisters, Beverly Camden and her husband, Larry, of Aurora, Colorado and Cindy Madrulli and her husband, Pete, of Dallas; brothers, Wayne Richard and his wife, Tonya, of Tennessee and Mark Richard and his wife, Keri, of Sour Lake; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

A gathering of Mr. Richard’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 6:30 p.m., Friday, June 24, 2016, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 25, 2016, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 2006 Nall Street, Port Neches. His graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 26, 2016, at Bellevue Memorial Park, 4833 Highway 182, Opelousas, Louisiana.
