Maxine Lee, 94, of Lumberton, died Tuesday, June 14, 2016.  She was born on March 2, 1922, in Buna, to Lona Mason Jackson and John Larry Jackson.

Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Caillier and her husband, Russell, of Lumberton; son, Ron Lee and his wife, Theresa, of Friendswood; grandchildren, Tim Caillier and his wife, Terri, of Marshall; and Jeff Caillier and his wife, Christi, of Lumberton; great-granchildren, Josh Resweber and his wife, Kyra, of Mauriceville; Wendell Resweber of Marshall; Hayle Downs and her husband, Garreth, of Jefferson; Megan Caillier and her husband, Dale Calcarone, of Houston; Macy Arthus and her husband, Chris, of Effingham, Illinois; Susan Brightwell of Lake Jackson; Kaitlyn Sims and her husband, Devin, of Seabrook; and Nathan Sims of Lumberton; five great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence Arthur Lee; daughter, Glenda Bernice Lee; son, Curtis Arnold Lee; and brothers, Hulan Jackson, Arnold Jackson, and Jack Jackson.

A gathering of Mrs. Lee’s family and friends will begin at 11:00 a.m., with her funeral service at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, June 18, 2016, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  Her interment will follow at Morse Cemetery, Buna.
