Kolby Alexander Shiver, infant son of Kandie Lynn Marshall and Jayson Lee Shiver, died Friday, April 29, 2016 at UTMB, in Galveston.

In addition to his parents, Kolby is survived by sisters, Darrien Hoke of Beaumont and Chloe Shiver of Las Vegas, Nevada; brothers, Trysten Hoke of Kountze, Keenan Shiver of Winnie, Nathan Hoke and Austyn Hoke, both of Kountze, and  Nathaniel Shiver and Joseph Shiver, both of Indiana; grandparents, Lanny Shiver and his wife, Faye, of Mountain Home Arkansas; Andrea Barrow of Winnie; Deborah William of Eustis, Florida; and Diana “Tiny” Marshall and Edwin Nelson, both of Crystal Beach; great-grandmother, JoAnn Burge of Eustis, Florida; aunts, Amanda Shiver and Shree Lowe, both of Winnie; Nikki Marshall of Crystal Beach; uncle, Avera Williams of Eustis, Florida; many cousins; and a host of other relatives and family friends.

Kolby was preceded by grandfather, Ricky Lynn Marshall; great-grandparents, Billy Ray and Shirley Marshall; and Benny and Betty Barrow.

A gathering of Kolby’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with his funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, May 5, 2016, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. A private committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
