Ralph Robinson 
July 22, 1948 - April 18, 2016

Ralph Robinson, 67, of China, died Monday, April 18, 2016. He was born on July 22, 1948, to Marie Rooks Robinson and Ralph Robinson, in Memphis, Tennessee, and was a United States Marine Corps veteran. Ralph worked as a bricklayer in the construction industry. He received the Craftsman of the Year award from the Association of General Contractors. It was one of two awards ever given of its kind to bricklayers in the history of the association. 

Survivors include his wife, Ruby Robinson; sons, Joseph Boudreaux, Ralph Brown Robinson II, and Ralph Brook Robinson, Jr., all of Beaumont; daughters, Tonya Roberts and her husband, Levi, of Lumberton; Angela Arnold Clark of Canyon Lake; Barbara Rae Maas and her husband, Bradford, of Magnolia; and Marie Brooks Robinson of Sour Lake; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Carrie Box and her husband, Brian, of China; and mother-in-law, Ginger Maddox of China.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his cousin who was like a brother to him, James M. Corbell and his wife, Marie.

A gathering of Mr. Robinson’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, April 22, 2016, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
