Dorothy Piggott Maddox, 70, of Kirbyville, died Saturday, March 26, 2016. She was born on September 18, 1945, in Bristol, Virginia, to Lula Marie Grubb Wheeler and Herbert Wheeler.

Survivors include her sons, William Anthony Piggott, Jr. and his fiancée Victoria Spence and Mark Alan Piggott and his wife, Melissa, all of Kirbyville; daughter, Dina DeBoer and her husband, Kyle, of Tampa, Florida; grandchildren, Mark, Jr., Matthew, and Michael Piggott, and Paris and Alexis DeBoer; and siblings, Linda Romero, Sheila Cardenas, Darlene Daigle, Johnny Bush, Christina Ortiz-Ruiz, Yvonne Dalton, Virginia Orange, and Helen Minnick.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Lula Marie Ortiz; and sister, Shirley Collazo.  

A memorial service for Mrs. Maddox will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 2, 2016, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
